The Annex randomly matches you and your roommate using our roommate matching program. We are unable to transfer tenants due to roommate differences.
That's all right. We offer a roommate matching service. Roommate placements are determined by a profile questionnaire. Our individually keyed bedrooms also provide you with privacy.

Apartments each have a steel-framed door with deadbolts and a door viewer, a fire extinguisher, a sprinkler system, and smoke detectors. Our clubhouse is also equipped with an alarm system.

Yes. At the time you sign the housing contract, you will need to make the property manager aware of your intention. The property manager must receive confirmation of your scholarships and loans plus a copy of your applied loans, at which time you are responsible for signing a separate housing contract addendum of two equal installment payments.

You will get a notification from the screening company via email explaining that your guarantor did not pass the screening application. At this time you should contact the company using the contact information in the email for further answers to your questions.
A guarantor is the co-signer to a lease. This person must be able to pass a financial background check as well as a screening of his or her eviction history. Common guarantors include a relative like a parent or grandparent or a close personal relation whose financial stability you trust.
Probably. Pending you do not qualify as a “self guarantor,” you will need a qualified guarantor like a relative or close relation.

Application fees need to be paid once your application is finished. We will not process your application until the fees are received. You can pay your move-in deposit and security deposit after your housing contract is signed. The first month’s installment payment will be due on the same day you move in, but you can also pay it early. Beginning with the second month, your installment payments will be due on the first day of each month.
Everyone who passes the screening process is welcome to live at The Annex.

The application fees go toward the cost of screening the application.
