We permit dogs and cats under 35 lbs. with specific breed restrictions. Each unit is allowed one pet.
Yes, our apartments are furnished and ready to move in. Your bedroom will include a mattress and bed frame, a dresser, and a desk and chair. Living room areas and bathrooms are also fully furnished.
Yes, online rent payments are allowed starting after the first month you move in. As a resident, you can login to our online resident portal to view account information, submit maintenance requests, pay rent, and more.
The listed rent price is for one person per month and includes apartment furnishings, Internet and cable, plus water, trash, and sewer. Not included is electric, which you are responsible for.
As soon as you receive your student loans, you are responsible for paying the first of your two equal installments for rent. Fees that do not apply to the loan agreement include application fees, move in fees, and the first month’s rent.
Yes. At the time you sign the lease, you will need to make the property manager aware of your intention. The property manager must receive confirmation of your scholarships and loans plus a copy of your applied loans, at which time you are responsible for signing a separate lease addendum of two equal rent installments.

Application fees need to be paid once your application is finished. We will not process your application until the fees are received. You can pay your move-in deposit and security deposit after your lease is signed. The first month’s rent will be due on the same day you move in, but you can also pay it early. Beginning with the second month, your rent will be due on the first day of each month.
Everyone who passes the screening process is welcome to live at The Annex.
Yes, so long as The Annex management and all tenants of the apartment and their guarantors agree. You will also be responsible for renting all rooms in the unit, meaning you could not rent only one room in a 2-bedroom apartment, for example.
Fees include $50 application fee, $150 security deposit, and $150 security fee. Each is non-refundable.
The application fees go toward the cost of screening the application.
